Dear Business Owner/Manager,
We are writing this letter to ask for your assistance for the upcoming 2012 baseball and softball season. Certainly you are aware that these economic times have hit everyone hard and in different ways. Our non-profit organization is no different. The 2012 season is going to be particularly challenging as our local Parks and Recreation Department has also been affected, which has now trickled down to the local youth sports programs. We, Rosamond Little League, have been tasked with not only maintaining our own fields, but have also been advised that funds for necessary items, such as grass, proper dugouts, fencing, field safety items, etc... Are going to be our financial responsibility.
As mentioned previously, we are non-profit. The money that is collected from sign-ups and the one fundraiser we are allowed is spent on the player’s uniforms, equipment, and insurance. With this being said, we are asking for your tax deductible donation to ensure that the children have a playable and above all, safe ball field. We have no control over the economic troubles, but we ALL have control over ensuring that our youth can continue to play sports, which is integral to their adolescence. Therefore, we are asking for ANY amount that you could donate towards our field and players.

With donations of $50 - $100, your company and/or name will have honorable mention on our web site. - SILVER DONATION
With donations of $125 - $200, your company and/or name will be given a plaque to proudly hang in your establishment and an honorable mention on our web site. - GOLD DONATION
With donations of $225 - $500, your company and/or name will be put onto the back of a team’s jerseys, a plaque to proudly hang in your establishment and honorable mention on our web site. - PLATINUM DONATION
With donations of $500 or more, your company and/or name will be on an advertisement board located on the field, put onto the back of a team’s jerseys, a plaque to proudly hang in your establishment and honorable mention on our web site.
